Professor Price served as Canon to the Ordinary in the Diocese of Western New York from 1989 to 2000. Her responsibilities with the Diocese included administration, clergy deployment, congregational development, and program. She has served in a variety of parochial contexts while continuing as a member of the Bishop's staff. In addition to her parochial ministry, she teaches with the Church Development Institute (C.D.I.) and serves as a consultant in several dioceses and for the national church.

Canon Price has served as a member of the Church Deployment Board, Board of Trustees of Bexley Hall, and the Deployment Ministry Conference. She has led conferences internationally as well as leading retreats and programs on spirituality and congregational development.

She is a member of Spiritual Directors International and the Society of the Companions of the Holy Cross.
